GENESIS
Domizia & Alessandro Turchi
Founded by siblings Domizia and Alessandro Turchi, AD Fine Art was born from the meeting of a long-standing family tradition and a contemporary perspective. The gallery presents a curated selection of European art and selected antiquities, shaped by a sensibility that draws from classical influence, Grand Tour aesthetics, and contemporary visual culture.
Established in Rome
AD Fine Art embraces an approach to collecting rooted in scholarship, quality, and a thoughtful dialogue between past and present.
LINEAGE
A century of stewardship
The gallery continues a family tradition established by great-grandfather Venanzio Turchi, carried forward by Alfredo Turchi and later by Valerio Turchi, whose expertise in Greek and Roman antiquities helped establish a respected presence within Rome’s art world.
A new vision
While remaining deeply connected to this heritage, AD Fine Art reflects the perspective of a new generation. Alessandro began working alongside his father at an early age, developing a passion for collecting through the study of Roman coins. Domizia, on the other hand, after several years in London working in publishing, writing, and communications, returned to Rome with a more international outlook shaped by contemporary visual culture and editorial thinking.
The meeting of these different experiences defines the gallery’s identity: a space where historical knowledge, curatorial sensibility, and a lasting appreciation for beauty come together.
PHILOSOPHY

THE MISSION
To present historical works through thoughtful curation and a personal perspective, creating a meaningful dialogue between artistic heritage and contemporary sensibilities.
